trying again..

I worked on this painting all weekend, and did I ever have fun with this picture.  It is not done yet, but I am so excited about the progress that I just had to post it to my blogspot.  This is my true painting style, and I have been having trouble finding it, this weekend I found it...with the use of watercolor paints..  IT WAS SO FUN!!

Spring!

Wow what a beautiful weekend I had this weekend.  I got so much done, worked in my flower garden trying to get it cleaned out and ready for all the flowers to begin coming up again...  I cleaned out my car, and am putting it up for sale tomorrow, gas prices are finally getting to me..and my little Jeep gets pretty bad gas mileage.  Well when I bought it in 2008, I told myself if I have to sell it down the road I will, and now I am at the end of that road, and time to sell. 

Daniel and I went out to breakfast together on Saturday and then he pulled the old carpet out of his old room and we took it to the dump.  It was fun spending time with him.

Today I started a new painting of a field of spring wild flowers on wood with acrylic paints..it is already turning out good, I love wild flowers.  I'll have it done and on my Etsy shop by next weekend..  I sold my very first painting on my Etsy shop last week, boy was I excited about that...

I spent the last two weekends painting new pictures for my Etsy shop.  Yesterday and today I painted this Wallowa Mountains Wild Purple Asters in watercolors.  I think I am finding that I enjoy the watercolors the most.

I just finished this picture of the Pendleton Flour Mill.  I photographed the picture and then painted in on a piece of wood using acrylic paints.

greetings!  It's Saturday, almost the best day of the week, well maybe it is the best day of the week..!  Just messing around with my etsy shop, took some new pictures of my stuff.. Check it out..

This is where I will write my little diary everyday, well maybe not every day..and maybe someday I'll be able to show case some of my paintings and the things I love to create, through this blog... I need to say thanks to my twin CUZ for hooking me up with blogging and inspiring me to get this going!

Good morning world...did anyone notice it is cold outside??  17 degrees this morning on my way to work!!!  The sun is shining on us brightly however, on this wonderful 1st day of February, 2011...
